Joyful Stars April Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars April Blog Hop. This hop is a circle, so it doesn't matter if you are coming from the talented Betty Locco's blog or if you start here on my blog. Just continue around until you're back to the blog that you started on to make sure you see all the fabulous projects.

Do you love punch art? I do! I have a Pinterest board devoted to it! However, I don't have the space to store the myriad of punches needed for some of these projects. So I improvise! Here is my "faux punch art bunny".

The bunny on this 5 x 7 card was made with shapes from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I used the Cricut Craft Room to create a file. I sorted the shapes on the mat by color so I could cut it all at once.

Yes, I use Washi Tape to hold paper down on older Cricut mats!
I sponged the white pieces with Whisper Ink before I assembled. Then I drew features with a black marker, black jouranling pen, and white gel pen. Also, I created a sponged cloud background with Sky Ink.

The grass border was cut form the Artiste Cricut Cartridge, Did you know that Close To My Heart is offering a free Cricut Collection if you sign up to be a consultant this month? Ask your consultant about this great deal!

If you are interested in downloading my Cricut Craft Room file of bunny shapes you can get it here.

Now let's all do the bunny hop to the wonderful Nancy Brown's blogFor a full list of bloggers on this hop or in case you get lost on the way look here.

  3. The bunny is so cute! Thanks for the file and I love the idea of using Washi tape to hold paper on the Cricut mats. I will definitely be using that idea.
