A Card to Honor George

I would say my love of peacocks started in August of 2017 when one appeared in our backyard. Flash forward to September of 2019, and it's still pretty cool to see George (yes I named him) wandering around. When he first appeared we tried to find his owner or a home. The zoo we called said no thank you. George is a survivor and he's adapted quite well to our neighborhood.

With all the photos I have of George I recently invested in some paper crafting products about peacocks. This card is made the Regal Peacock die set from Birch Press Designs and the Noble Peacock paper from Stampin Up.  I love the dimension with the layered die.

Everything is Rosy

Stampin Up had a beautiful collection in May 2019 called Everything is Rosy. It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that I had time to create several cards. I was at a crafting retreat with friends. One of my friends liked it so much she went on Ebay to see if this retired collection was still available!

I still have a lot of paper and elements left and look forward to using this beautiful collection to craft some more cards.

Loaded Envelope

I made two of these loaded envelopes for some card-making friends. It's the first loaded envelope I made, but I think I'll be making more! In the outside bottom two pockets I had a set of water color note cards and "card candy".

The outside top pocket had three tags. I love the puns!

The inside pocket had a pack of gum, a mug cake mix, and a shaker card element featuring sticky boy. Sticky boy is a coveted stamp by Close To My heart consultants. He only appears at corporate events and you need to be lucky to find him!

April Paper Pumpkin

I love Stampin' Ups project kits, card kits, and Paper Pumpkin kits. I recently purchased a few of them. These are the cards from April 2019's Paper Pumpkin subscription.

A Washi Tape Card

There are so many beautiful washi tapes on the market. This card using Floral Flurries Washi Tape from Altenew and it is inspired from a pin I saw on Pinterest. It's a simple technique. Apply the tape to a piece of paper and fussy cut the images you want to use. This card was for a dear friend that just celebrated a birthday.

Valentine Card 2019

A few weeks ago RG Studio 360 had a stamp bundle featuring Valentine bears. As a teddy bear fan and collector I grabbed this set before I missed out. I decided to use it for Valentine cards this year. The bear and inside greeting  of "Happy Valentine's Day" are from RG Studio 360. I used two different stamps from my stash for the "Hello Friend" sentiment. I used the stitched circle dies and paper form Close To My Heart. The bear was colored with Copic markers, and then I applied tan fun flock that I've had for decades! I'm not sure they make it anymore.

A Special Birthday Card

Today is mom's birthday and I made another 3D card. This one uses Spellbinders Grand Cabinet 3D dies. Then I used some Anna Griffin dimensional stickers to embellish.

Grand Dome 3D Birthday Card

This is a birthday card for a very special friend who is also a card maker. I used my brand new Spellbinders Grand Dome 3D dies. I had to spend some time watching You Tube videos on how to assemble it, but then it was pretty easy to do.

A Birthday Card

This is the first card I sent in 2019. The image is from Sketched Flowers by Simon Says Stamp. It is embossed with Copper Tinsel Embossing Powder from Ranger.  Then I colored it in using the Starry Colors Gansai Tambi paints from Kuretake. I made it into a birthday card by stamping an inside sentiment.
