Scrapbook & Cards Today's Let's Stamp Together Kit from May 2023 was a collaboration with Spellbinders. It's a beautiful kit with dies that feature stitching and a kaleidoscope effect! I made these cards during the live class taught by Spellbinders.

I recently completed cards from a Crop and Create Class called Next Level Layered Florals with Gina Krupsky for Gina K Designs. The flowers are colored in with stencils and a die cut piece is layered over to make the element pop!

Last month I attended Taylored Expression's Virtual Stamp Joy. The Friday night class featured the Flower Market stamp set and featured four different ways to color images. This card used colored cardstock! Simply emboss and die cut. It doesn't get much easier than that!

This card was demonstrated using colored pencils and Gamsol. I do not have Gamsol so I used water color pencils and a blender brush.

I'm typically not a fan of coloring but these images were quick to do. I like the non traditional colors for the "greenary."

I'm typically not a fan of water coloring but embossing the image first really help with control. I liked the way this card turned out.

Last month I attended Pinkfresh Studio's Create and Connect virtual event. I love Pinkfresh's style and that their product suite includes coordinating stamps, stencils, and dies. The second class featured the suite Pure Joy. For this card I used a shimmer brush on the hummingbird's wings. I also used a black glaze pen on the hummingbird's beak and eye.

The first class featured the suite Farm Fresh Flowers. I used my favorite retired Close to My Heart inks on this card, Lilac Mist and Spring Iris.

The first class featured the suite Farm Fresh Flowers. I love this color combination of pink and aqua. I had to pull out my favorite iridescent gems to use from Stampin Up.

Spellbinders and Altenew combined forces recently for an event called Fun with Florals: Pick N' Play. There was a week of classes prerecorded and live. This is one of the cards I made that is inspired by not exactly like one from the instructors. For this card I used the Altenew floral stamp for the first time. I decided to use TriBlend markers to color instead of using the stencils and ink blending. It's fun to mix it up.

Spellbinders and Altenew combined forces recently for an event called Fun with Florals: Pick N' Play. There was a week of classes prerecorded and live. This is one of the cards I made that is inspired by not exactly like one from the instructors. It's an interesting technique to emboss and distress an image in washi tape. I feel like this is a practice card and I should try this again.
