You Are Cherry Sweet Card

I've built a collection of stamps sets that are puns. So I really enjoyed the January Paper Pumpkin kit "Lots of Puns"! This is one of the cards I made. I also made a second card with frowns on the cherries and the sentiment said "I'm sorry, That's the pits."

Let's Stamp Together!

Let's Stamp Together is a stamp, die, and stencil subscription program from Scrapbook & Cards Today. The first collection in the subscription was from Gina K designs. Earlier this month Gina led a class to show how to make these three cards.

Ethereal Flowers

Last month I attended a virtual event by Altenew. One of the classes was titled Ethereal Flowers. These cards were my favorite. I love how the flowers are mostly white with just a touch of ink. It was so easy to blend with the stencils and mixed media ink.

Artistic Backgrounds

Last month I attended a virtual event by Altenew. One of the classes was titled Artistic Backgrounds. The backgrounds have so many techniques for interest like splatters, embossing, sentiments stamped randomly, and lots of layers. This class was one of my favorites!

Layered Dahlia Stencil

Pinkfresh Studio is a newer company to me. After participating in a virtual event they had in 2021 I became hooked on their coordinating stamp, dies, and stencils. Coloring images with layered stencils and blender brushes is so much fun and gives beautiful results! This card uses the Dahlia Bunch.

Showcase Beautiful Paper Part 4

I have some beautiful 12x12 paper that would work very well for scrapbooking. Since I'm mostly a card maker I struggle with how to use it. I decided to make some 5x7 cards where you can see more of the paper. For these cards I just added a sentiment, some sequins, and gold stickers. Quick and easy!

Butterfly Card

Looking through my stash I'm finding cover dies that I've never used. This die from Close To My Heart was one of them. It's stunning layered over the holographic paper. I added a few small gems. I think this would make a great notecard set in different colors.

Birthday Card for My Mom

My mom's birthday is today! I used a new layered die that I just purchased for her card. Blue is her favorite color so I picked 4 shades of blue to create the rose. I have so many sequins in my stash that I think I went overboard! But I'm determined to use my stash this year.

Showcase Beautiful Paper Part 2

I have some beautiful 12x12 paper that would work very well for scrapbooking. Since I'm mostly a card maker I struggle with how to use it. I decided to make some 5x7 cards where you can see more of the paper. Stampin Up had transparent overlays that coordinated with this stunning paper to add the gold outline. Then all I did was add a sentiment and the card was done!

The card below is from the same paper collection, but instead of the transparent overlay I added a butterfly embellishment and some sequins.

Snail Valentine

I had these adorable snails left over from Paper Pumpkin's treat box kit from January 2021. I made several cards using them, retired CTMH paper, and the December 2021 Sheet Load of Cards template. You can find the template by being a subscriber at Call Me Crafty Al's You Tube channel.

I love this non traditional color scheme of the card above!

Sweet Mouse Valentine Card

Sweet Little Things was Close To My Heart's (CTMH) January Stamp of the Month. I made several cards using this stamp set, retired CTMH paper, and the January 2022 Sheet Load of Cards template. You can find the template by being a subscriber at Call Me Crafty Al's You Tube channel.

When I saw this sweet mouse stamp I thought of one of my favorite children's book, The Tale of Despereaux: Being the Story of a Mouse, a Princess, Some Soup, and a Spool of Thread  by Kate DiCamillo.

"Love, as we have already discussed, is a powerful, wonderful, ridiculous thing, capable of moving mountains. And spools of thread."

Special Birthday Card

One of my best friends celebrated a birthday yesterday. I made this mini slime line card for her. The washi tape and coordinating die is from Pinkfresh Studio. The stamp and die I used for the sentiment is from Gina K. Designs.

This card also uses the washi tape and die from Pinkfresh Studio. Makes card making so easy!
