Notes of Cheer Card Kit

Being on holiday break means I have a chance to get caught up on card kits and card classes! These cards were made from the Notes of Cheer Card Kit from Stampin Up. I didn't pay attention to the instructions and still found this kit easy to put together. However, I realized I changed up the suggested sentiment strips after I was done! At work we have secret pals to provide some encouragement to each other throughout the school year. My pal loves butterflies and rainbows so I will be gifting this set of cards to her!

Grateful Cards

Being on holiday break means I have a chance to get caught up on card kits and card classes! These cards were made from the Concord & 9th class during the October SCT Cardmaking event. I love stamping but the inlaid die cutting was a lot of fun!

These are the make and take cards from Concord & 9th's Holly Jolly virtual workshop. This was such a fun event and I highly recommend virtual events from Concord & 9th!

Concord & 9th hosted a virtual event before Thanksgiving. The Holly Jolly virtual event was so much fun. I wouldn't have thought the above cards were easy to mass produced, but the classes walked us through creating a set of 6 for each. 

Built on Dreams

This is another class during the Pinkfresh Studio Create and Connect event. I love this set Built on Dreams. My nephew and his girlfriend just bought a home and this set was prefect for creating a card for them.

Earlier this month I attended a virtual event with Pinkfresh Studio. This was the first time I've got to use their product and I love their coordinated stamps, layering stencils, and dies.

Frosty Wishes

Scrapbook & Cards Today's had a virtual event Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking. One of the classes featured the Lawn Fawn product. The class was taught by Jen who gave us great tips about creating water colored backgrounds combined with stenciling. I added some felt pieces I had in my stash and love they way these turned out!

Sincere Sentiments

Earlier this month I attended Scrapbook & Cards Today's Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking Event. One of the demonstrations was from Elle's Studio using this stamp set from their Sincere Sentiments line. Meghann shared her design using rainbow colors. 

Watercolored Image

Earlier this month I attended Scrapbook & Cards Today's Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking Event. This digital image is from Angie Blom Digital Designs. She demonstrated watercoloring her image. I pulled out my Kuretake - Gansai Tambi Watercolors that have a metallic sheen. I fussy cut the image and attached it to a notecard where I used a cover die to add interest. 

A Birthday Card

Earlier this month I attended Scrapbook & Cards Today's Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking Event. One of the demonstrations was from Photo Play using this birthday stamp. Becky showed a technique of creating a stencil to color in the stamp image with blending brushes.

Last weekend I attended Scrapbook & Cards Today's Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking Event. This was the first time I heard of The Stamp Market. I loved the class that Amy taught about design and color! 

Masking Magic

I recently attended Scrapbook & Cards Today's Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking Event. These cards were made with products from Gina K. Designs. Gina led the class teaching us how to use masking magic paper and blending brushes to create stunning backgrounds for the silhouette stamps. 

There is a funny story to the one friend card. While stamping I thought it said Friend you are THE best. After I stamped the sentiment I realized it said Friend you are MY best. It certainly would sound better you are my best Friend so I might rework it! 

Small Gestures Card

This past weekend I celebrated World Cardmaking Day by attending Scrapbook & Cards Today's Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking Event. This stamp set was from Scrapbook & Cards Today and Cathy Z. led a tutorial on embossing a stamped image in white and coloring it with blending brushes. 

Hello Sweet Friend card

In March 2021 I virtually attended Scrapbook and Cards Cardmaking event. It was the first time I used products from Gina K. Designs, and Gina demonstrated how to make this card with the layering stencils. Recently a dear friend celebrated a birthday. I added a birthday greeting inside this card and gave it to her. 

We are both amazing!

Someone with a great sense of humor will get this card! To make it I combined mini slimline cards and envelopes I purchased from Taylored Expressions with Close To My Heart's Cheerful Humor stamp and paper.

These two cards come from Stampin Up's Paper Pumpkin kit from July 2020 called Summer Nights. I used stickles to add to the lantern scenes!

This card is from Stampin Up's Paper Pumpkin kit from July 20202. This is one of my favorite kits and to add a special touch I used glow in the dark glitter glue on the fireflies.

C9 Summer Camp Arts & Crafts Class

One week ago I was participating in Concord & 9th's virtual summer camp. Our last class was all about 3D items. The paper wreath was fun to make, but I love the 3D cards and building the scene. The best thing is they fold flat to mail in a standard A2 envelope. This was the best summer camp I ever attended!

C9 Summer Camp Turnabouts Class

Here are two more sets of cards from Concord & 9th's virtual summer camp event from last weekend. This class was about their Turnabout stamps. It was much easier then I thought to line up the stamps. I am now window shopping to add more Turnabouts to my stash!

C9 Summer Camp Watercoloring Class

 

Concord & 9th is a company I've been following for awhile, but I never purchased items from them. When they advertised a virtual summer camp I jumped on the opportunity to try them out. Their virtual summer camp event was this past weekend. It was so much fun and I hope they do another one! 

Their first class was about using liquid watercolors. It was fun practice and I hope to continue using watercoloring in my cardmaking!

The You Are Enough paper collection is stunning and available for a few more days from a Close To My Heart Consultant. I paired the paper with Stampin Up's Brilliant Wings dies to make these cards. The sentiment stamps are from miscellaneous sets I have. The Irish blessing is a retired CTMH stamp set from many years ago.

Bubbles of Joy Class from Lawn Fawn

 

Last month Lawn Fawn celebrated their birthday with a free class on their Facebook page. I was finally able to make the two cards during my spring break. I think my favorite part is adding the Stickles to the bubbles!
