My last post was August 2025. Here we are a year later. Some backstory...in 2023 my father passed away and I became a caregiver to my mother. At that time a few things happened that changed my hobbies. I wasn't inspired to craft and I didn't have a budget for new craft supplies.

What I have been doing in my free time is PC gaming and have a few friends I met through gaming and Discord. I even started a YouTube channel to remember some of my best or funniest gaming moments!

On August 10th I saw the Concord & 9th release and the passion to get back into paper crafting was stirred. Without guilt I made the purchase to get almost the entire release. As soon as my goodies arrived I wanted to play! This Countryside Bundle is my favorite. The sentiment fits me perfect. Life is hard but I am trying to find some joy everyday.

I had a little mishap with the "orange tree". While gluing I dropped the piece on the card! I think I did OK covering it up or incorporating it into the design. It showing up a bit more in the photo then it does in person.

Some personal changes in my life have made it that I just don't have the same passion as I once did to papercraft and make cards. My interests have also changed. Earlier this year I moved my craft supplies to a new area in my house and just recently I did a reorganization and purge. Now I feel like I have a space that allows me to be creative and I have the urge to get back to it. I subscribe to Scrapbook and Cards Today's Let's Stamp Together. July's kit is from Gina K Designs and Gina held a class this week. These are the cards I made.

Scrapbook & Cards Today's Let's Stamp Together Kit from May 2023 was a collaboration with Spellbinders. It's a beautiful kit with dies that feature stitching and a kaleidoscope effect! I made these cards during the live class taught by Spellbinders.

Last month I attended Taylored Expression's Virtual Stamp Joy. The Friday night class featured the Flower Market stamp set and featured four different ways to color images. This card used colored cardstock! Simply emboss and die cut. It doesn't get much easier than that!

This card was demonstrated using colored pencils and Gamsol. I do not have Gamsol so I used water color pencils and a blender brush.
