Watercolor Backgrounds

Water coloring is a huge trend right now. A few months ago I purchased the Mulberry font and there was a set of water color flower png files included. I used Design Space to print and cut a few flowers and leaves. Recently I came across that envelope of "card candy" and decided to make a couple of cards. To keep with the water color theme I cut some water color paper and randomly painted and splattered color. I love the way these cards turned out. I can't wait to grab my paints to do more!

Punny Thank You Cards

I love the print and cut feature with the Cricut Explore. Awhile back I was looking through the Cricut content that is part of the subscription and found the "Merci BEAR coup" and "MOO chas gracias" sayings.  All I needed to do is layer some paper and add shimmer trim for these quick and easy thank you cards.

This month's featured paper collection is Penelope. I love the bright, spring like colors. I recently attended a crop and took the The Workshop Your Way Kit (pictured above).  I made all three traditional two page layouts and the cards. Just today I printed out some photos to put on this layout titled "Spring is Here". Yes the days are getting longer (and sunnier), the robins have returned, and the crocuses are blooming!

Valentine Easel Card

I really love the beautiful designs of Anna Griffin. The pattern paper, floral stickers and flocked paper were recent purchases from HSN. I used several stamps from Close To My Heart for the sentiments For Family, Sentiment Stamp from Artfully Sent Cricut Collection, and Hello, Life - Scrapbooking (retired). Since it's a valentine I need to add some hearts and the Stuck on You Puffies (retired) were just perfect!

Recently on Facebook, I saw a post about this mini bag project. Using the tutorial I created a project in Design Space and let my Cricut do all the scoring! Using Close To My Heart's La Vie En Rose paper and complements make this the perfect gift bag for Valentine's Day treats.
