The first Saturday in October is world cardmaking day. I spent the weekend making some birthday cards. The paper is from Close To My Heart. The foam sentiment stackers are from Queen and Company.

Stamps in Motion

Close To My Heart created a special collection, Creativity in Motion, for National Stamping Month. Today I watched their virtual event and created these cards. They are so fun!

Art Days Shaped Shaker Cards

This year I registered for Queen & Co's Queen For A Day event. I was looking forward to attending this event in the Philadelphia area in September 2020. Unfortunately like many events this was canceled due to the corona virus. The folks from Queen & Co. sent the projects we would have completed. One of the projects was a layout using the Art Days Shaped Shaker Kit. I don't have a need for layouts. I took the materials and made them into these three cards!

More June 2020 Paper Pumpkin Cards

After I made the June 2020 Paper Pumpkin cards I used the leftover supplies to make these cards. Most of the materials came from the Stampin Up's Paper Pumpkin kit, but I also used stamps from Close To My Heart, Fun Stampers Journey, and Queen & Co.

Queen & Co. Happy Hour Class

Sadly, last month the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Lancaster, PA was canceled. However, we were able to order class kits to complete at home. I was excited about this option and registered for three classes. These four cards are from Queen & Co.'s Happy Hour class.

June 2020 Paper Pumpkin cards

I finally had a chance to put the cards together from the June 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit, Stampin Up's card subscription. I'm not a Stampin Up demonstrator, just a customer that really likes these kits! Everything is from the kit except the stamped sentiment on the pineapple card. That comes from a Queen and Co. stamp.

The Stamps of Life CKC Card Kit

This past weekend the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Lancaster, PA was canceled. I was able to purchase classes to do at home. These three cards are from a card kit from The Stamps of Life. I think the donut shaped card is fun, but the dragonfly card is my favorite. The background was created with a die cut and stenciling!

Stitched Together Cards

I purchased this paper from Close To My Heart and used directions from the card kit to put these two cards together. The bling is from Queen and Company. I love the pinwheels!

11 Cards

Card #1: I made four cards of this design.

A friend of mine that is a Close To My Hear Consultant did a virtual class yesterday. The class was making 11 cards from two 6 x 12 sheets of pattern paper, white cardstock pieces, and 11 cardstock card bases of a coordinating color. I used the new Seas the Day paper with Mint cardstock and Craft On paper with Caroline Blue cardstock. This card class was called 11 cards, but I could have made one more, maybe 2!

Card #2: I made four cards of this design.

Card #3: I made two cards of this design.
Card #4: I made one card of this design.

Needlepoint, Felt, and Crochet

I purchased Stampin Up's Needlepoint Nook paper awhile ago. I finally used it for the first time. To complement the look of embroidery I pulled out felt and crochet flowers from my stash. I love how bright and cheery these cards are!

Spring Critter Gingham Cards

I stamped the sheep, chick, and bunnies intending to make Easter cards, but since the holiday has passed I pulled out animal pun stamps and found sentiments that work! These cards were inspired by shaker cards I saw on Pinterest. The supplies are mix of current and retired products from Stampin Up1, Close To My Heart, and Simon Says Stamp.

Happy Easter 2020!

This card was made from a Stampin Up supplies including the Paper Pumpkin March 2020 card kit. This alternative card was shared by a demonstrator I found on YouTube. I just switched up the sentiment. Here is her blog post.

Stampin Up's February 2020 Paper Pumpkin

I have often purchased card kits from different companies. They are great to have on hand when you need a quick card. Right now  I have a subscription to the Paper Ppumpkin kits through Stampin Up. This weekend I put the cards together from the February 2020 kit "Lovely Day". Now I have quite a few birthday cards on hand, and with the stamp set and my own papers I can recreate the design too.

Coloring on Foil Paper

Stampin Up had this beautiful foil paper available during Sale-A-Bration. I took the time to color a piece with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers. That one piece of paper was used to create the following cards.

Fold n' Go Bird Ballad Box

This box is the Fold n' Go template from Papertrey Ink. I love these birds that are front and center. They are fussy cut from 12 x 12 piece of paper from Stampin' Up's Bird Ballad collection. I believe the plaid paper is from an old collection from Fun Stamper's Journey. I'm using up my stash!

Coral Flowers on a Card

I stamped the leaves and flowers from Simon Says Stamp's set called Delicate Flowers. Then I colored the images using Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers. I love the coral color! The piece of cardstock is embossed with the Geometric Next Level Embossing Folders by We R Memory Keepers. Then some gems from Fun Stampers Journey finished the card. I stamped a sentiment inside to make this a birthday card for a dear friend.
