FSS Scribble Rose in Purple

Another card with the digital stamp, Scribbled Rose, by Fred She Said Designs. There is a pre-colored purple one, my favorite color! The paper is a retired collection from Close To My Heart and I kicked it up with purple shimmer trim that is also from Close To My Heart.

This card was so quick and easy to put together. If you're looking to add some digi stamps that you can color or are pre-colored check out the store at Fred She Said Designs now, because there is a sale that ends today!

FRED SHE SAID DESIGNS is having an END OF SUMMER SALE!  And there are new floral releases just in time :)  You can find more info at the FRED SHE SAID BLOG.

Halloween Pop-Up Card

The newest Cricut cartridge from Close To My Heart is Artfully Sent. I just received my cartridge and had time this weekend to play! I made this card with the cool pop up scene in the center. I also used Scaredy Cat the new paper pack and compliments.

FSS Scribbled Rose Step Card

There are new releases from Fred She Said! This digital stamp is the beautiful floral, Scribbled Rose. There is a a digi version for coloring fans and a pre-colored version for those who want to put together a quick card. I used the pre-colored version for this card. I matched it with paper and a sentiment sticker from My Mind's Eye Kate & Co. Cambridge Court collection. I also used a step card SVG file from Lettering Delights. I love traditional stamping but I appreciate how easy cardmaking is with Fred She Said Designs. Check out their designs and quickly, because there is a sale!

Christmas Card Making Day 2014

Today was Christmas card making day! The card above is a card that I taught at the event. This is more an intermediate level project as the beginners found it a little tricky. The pieces are cut with this file in Cricut Design Space. The file is shareable and you can cut it as long as you have Close To My Heart's Artiste and Art Philosophy cartridges linked to your account.

Here is a look at the other cards that my consultant friends Joyce, Stacey, and Stacy designed and taught.

The polar bear card is a shutter card. Below is a video of how the sentiment is revealed!

Joyful Stars September Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars September Blog Hop! Many of you are probably hopping form Helen's blog. If you've just stumbled upon this post don't worry, this hop is a circle. Just continue hopping along until you get back to my blog to make sure you see all the fabulous projects.

This Saturday several consultants and I will be leading a Christmas card making day. This is the card that I will be teaching to those attending the event. It's a bendy card that I designed using the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy and Artiste cartridges in Cricut Design Space. The background is created with an old technique I love. Place a circle sticker as a mask for the moon then apply ink with sponge or sponge daubers.

Supplies:
White Daisy Cardstock
Glacier Ink
Always Grateful Stamp Set
Christmas Village Stamp Set
Greatest Love Stamp Set

Christmas card making day is a great time and if you are local (southeastern PA) I hope to see you there. Next week I will post all of the cards we made so be sure to check back then. But for now it's time to keep hopping. The next stop is Joyce's blog.

Wedding Pocket Scrapbook Album

My nephew Ben married Mary earlier today. So now that the reception is over and gifts are given I think it's safe to post the pictures! Here is the scrapbook album I made for them. Most of the pages are pocket pages so it will be quick and easy to put together. I used a variety of supplies I had on hand, elements created with the Cricut, and journal tags using custom shapes of wedding couples in Photoshop.

There are several more pages with pockets that I didn't photograph. Plenty of spaces for all their wedding ceremony and reception photos.

A Special Wedding Card

Today my nephew Ben is getting married to Mary! This card is for my mom and day to give to them. The bride and groom were cut with the Cricut Explore. I have a subscription to all content so I'm not sure what cartridge it is from. The bottom layer was cut on white cardstock and then I colored the skin and hair with Copic markers. The white is dress and veil was embossed to make it stand out more from the card base. It is also popped with foam tape. Lastly, my favorite detail is the little pearl buttons! I love the way this card turned out.
