The Hole in Our Backyard

Back in December in lieu of Christmas presents my family contributed to the pool fund, and now several months later we are breaking ground! It's so exciting to see the process and everyone is eager to see the end result.

Canvas Art

This is another creation for the Wescosville Quarter Auction. I've played around with canvas before but was never happy with the outcome. I love this and I think I might need to buy more art canvas. The paper is from the Felicity collection that is no longer available. Good thing I stocked up when it was a special!

My version of Scherenschnitte

I met Marge at my very first job as a child care teacher at the local YMCA. Marge was an assistant teacher. Each year we held an auction to benefit YMCA scholarships. Marge made several Scherenschnitte pictures. I happily bid on and won a Noah's Ark.

The detailed cuts amaze me. I made my own version of this papercraft by using my Cricut. I just love the images from A Child's Year cartridge partnered with the Grace paper packet and stickease. This item will be one of my items to bid on at the Wescosville Quarter Auction on Sunday. If you're local I hope to see you there!

First Studio J Layout

I've been taking old photos from my parents and scanning them to make digital images. That way they are preserved. My siblings and I can share copies and the originals. I've wanted to make a family heritage album. I purchased a black leather album and Silhouette paper for this project, but I just needed the time to do it. Now Close To My Heart developed Studio J an online digital scrapbooking program. Consultants have a preview period before it launches. I love this! I made 5 two-page layouts in approximately and hour. The best thing is I can order copies of the layouts for my brothers. I can put together 3 identical albums with Studio J. It's Faster. Simpler. Easier.®
