Sympathy Card

 I recently participated in a virtual event from Taylored Expressions. I am new to their products and teachers so it was a fun introduction. This card used a foiling technique with Pixie spray. I had never heard of Pixie spray and it's something I can see myself using in the future.

Interactive Cards from Photoplay

Last month I participated in Brutus Monroe's Crafty Staycation. One class featured interactive cards from Photoplay. We did a waterfall card, a shutter card, and a wiper card. The cards come precut. All you need to do is assemble and decorate! I rarely make interactive cards but these were so fun.

Layered Love Cards

Gina from Gina K. Designs taught at Brutus Monroe's Crafty Staycation. We made these three cards. I think this class was my favorite. I love the Layered Love stamp set and dies and the sunburst stencil. I am a fan of Gina K. Designs and look forward to anytime I can attend one of her classes!

Cards with Pretty Peonies

Last month I participated in Brutus Monroe's Crafty Staycation. One class featured the Pretty Peonies stamp set from Simon Hurley Creates. Simon demonstrated how to use his stamping foam to do the backgrounds. It was such a cool technique! I also used his lunar paste for the first time. I want to contune practicing but I'm happy with these experimental cards!

Hopeful Blossoms Cards

 

Last month I participated in Brutus Monroe's Crafty Staycation. One class featured the new Hope Blossoms stamp and die set, a lace circle stencil, and coloring techniques. I'm not of fan of coloring images with watercolor pencils, but it was a nice to practice. Like anything I'm sure the more I use them I will like the results and become a fan.

Kind Blossom Cards

 

I made these three cards at Brutus Monroe's Crafty Staycation virtual event using the Kind Blossoms stamp set and dies. The set has multiples of the same flower with the stems in different directions which I think is so smart. The sentiments are so heartfelt too.

Spring Sunshine Cards

Last month I participated in Brutus Monroe's Crafty Staycation. One class featured the new Spring Sunshine stamp set and stencil, the Spring Saying dies, and the glitter glaze in hyacinth. I loved all of the products and am ready for spring!

 

Hippo Birthday to You! Card

Last month's Paper Pumpkin kit was Safari Celebration. It came with punch out of animals that I wanted to switch out for a retired Close To My Heart stamp I have. Since I am not a consultant or demonstrator for any company I love being able to mix and use everything in my stash! This is the third card featuring a hippo! I have a friend who loves hippos and her birthday is next month. This card will be going to her!  

You're Elephantastic Card

You're Great! (No Lion) Card

Light the Candles Card Kit

I love creating and designing cards. I also love getting cards kits that are already designed and all you need to do is assemble. I can always use birthday cards so this kit from Stampin Up's kits collection was perfect. They are so bright and cheerful!

 

"Peel better soon" Card

I've built a collection of stamps sets that are pun. So I really enjoyed the January Paper Pumpkin kit "Lots of Puns"! This is one of the cards I made. I also made a second card with the sentiment "Celebrate! Go bananas"!
