Now for some details about my project. I am a teacher and every year I like to do a special back to school gift for my coworkers. I used the Back to School Digital Papers from Fred, She Said to cover a milk carton from Close To My Heart. I added a message on the apple and adhered it to the front. I finished decorating the project with a strip of Martha Stewart paper tape. Now I need to grab some treats at the store to fill these creations! The Back to School Digital Papers are freebies and look at Tracey Lynn's card to see how great they work with Nolan and Sign. Also, if you want to check out past creations I did for back to school here is a pencil and a teacher's survivor kit!

FSS Wheelbarrow Card

This is one of my favorite designs from Fred, She Said. It's the Pre-Colored Wheelbarrow. Last month I found a year's supply of Flower Soft! So I decided to add some to this card. I used Nestibilities to cut the digi stamp and mat. Then to finish the card I used a strip of washi tape and a stamped sentiment from a Papertry Ink set.

Crop Make and Take Projects

Make and Take #1: Thank You Mini Treat Bag (Candy not included!)

Make and Take #2: Commotion Potion Mini Treat "Bag" (Drink mix not included.)

Make and Take #3: Gift Card Holder Holiday Card. (Gift Card not included.)

This Saturday I was invited to be a vendor at a crop in Limerick, PA. It's at the firehouse from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. I think it's full, but you can still come to shop, buy raffle tickets, or complete make and take projects. Tonight I quickly put together my samples for three make and take projects using Close To My Heart's Art Philosophy and Artiste cartridges. It was fun spending an hour crafting. I look forward to Saturday's crop and getting some more time to create!

FSS Calla Lilies Card

Things have been a bit hectic lately and I haven't had much time to craft. My father was in the hospital. So I became the primary caregiver for my mom, squeezing in time to visit him at the hospital, as well as trying to get my classroom ready for the school year. My dad came home yesterday and is able to help around the house so things got a bit easier for me. But I'm still struggling with the time and inspiration to craft. I feel like I lost my crafting mojo with everything going on in life. I'm sure that happens to all of us!

This is a quick and simple card using an image and sentiment from Fred, She Said Calla Lilies and Sentiments Set. I printed out the flowers and sentiment I wanted on white card stock. Then I punched an oval with my Nestibilities die from black card stock. I adhered the flowers so the peek through the window. I cut the triangle from the sentiment strip free hand to give it the look of a banner. I feel like it needs something else, but I'm not quite sure. You may see another version reposted. Maybe with ribbon.

FSS Corner Rose Sympathy Card

I had a friend and former coworker of mine loss her battle with breast cancer recently. Her memorial service is next week and the statement was put out to wear pink instead of black. So my card has some brighter colors than what a normal think for a sympathy card.

Like many crafters finding the time to create can be a problem. That is way I love the precolored items from Fred, She Said. These pink roses come from the Corner Rose Set.

Oh my darling...Clementine!

Today Close To My Heart's August / Winter Idea Book debuts. You can see it online or contact me to get a copy of your own. One of the new paper packs is Clementine. I had a chance to work with this paper last month at convention. We created these layouts at the Create and Take sessions. The layouts were perfect for showing convention photos from Dallas!
