Pixel Scrapper's March Blog Train

The theme for this month's blog hop is Country Wedding. I love the color palette of purple, blue and green! I took some family photos and used them with my kit to create the layout above. Whether you have wedding or other photos to scrap I hope you can find this kit useful. Also, I love making cards so here is another example with my kit.

I might play around with the design of this card. I mostly wanted to test how the lilacs look when printed! There are two previews but just one download you can get here. If you're just stopping by my blog you'll want to check out all the designers contributing to this month's hop. They're listed here.

My nephew Ben and his finacee, Mary, have been a couple for several years. However, this Valentine's Day is special because now they are an engaged couple, and to think next year they will be celebrating as a married couple!

This digital layout features the Fred She Said Hearts and Roses Precolored Set.

Polka Dot Challenge

Last week I posted a digital scrapbooking kit that I designed for Pixel Scrapper's February Blog Train. I'm having so much fun learning how to use different tools in Photoshop and designing. This week there was a challenge for beginning designers to create a polka dot pattern. Once I learned the technique I applied it to do a "rose polka dot". You can download these four papers and the transparent overlays to make your own polka dot papers! Enjoy!
