February Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars February Blog Hop! If you've come here from Helen's blog you're on the right track. If you just happened upon my blog, that's fine, just continue from here and when you get back to me, you know you've seen them all.

February 10 is my mom's birthday. This is the card I made for her using the Heartstrings Paper Packet and Compliments. Happy Birthday, from the stamp set Happy To Be Friends, is stamped in black on a journal spot from the My Crush in the Pink Assortment. Then every card needs a little bling and the Junebug Puffy Stickers worked well with this color palette.

Many of the items I used are from the Seasonal Expressions 1 Idea Book. These items are only available until March 31. So contact your Close To My Heart consultant to grab them and stock up before they are gone forever.

Thank you for stopping or should I say hopping. Your next stop is Andrea's blogJust in case you get lost or experience a technical difficulty, you might want to keep Joyce's blog open in a separate tab, as she has a full list of participants.

  3. Lovely card. The color combination is so soft - what is the teal sponged layer? Did you sponge it or is it from the Crush assortment too?

    1. The journaling spot from the My Crush Pink Assortment is that full white / teal card. Easy layering! I think there is a word on it that I covered up with the Stickease Compliments.

    1. Thanks Krista! I didn't use paper fundamentals on this one. The only paper is Heartstrings and The My Crush Pink Assortment. The "washi tape" strips and flower are Stickease Compliments.
