Sympathy Card

 I recently participated in a virtual event from Taylored Expressions. I am new to their products and teachers so it was a fun introduction. This card used a foiling technique with Pixie spray. I had never heard of Pixie spray and it's something I can see myself using in the future.

Interactive Cards from Photoplay

Last month I participated in Brutus Monroe's Crafty Staycation. One class featured interactive cards from Photoplay. We did a waterfall card, a shutter card, and a wiper card. The cards come precut. All you need to do is assemble and decorate! I rarely make interactive cards but these were so fun.

Layered Love Cards

Gina from Gina K. Designs taught at Brutus Monroe's Crafty Staycation. We made these three cards. I think this class was my favorite. I love the Layered Love stamp set and dies and the sunburst stencil. I am a fan of Gina K. Designs and look forward to anytime I can attend one of her classes!

Cards with Pretty Peonies

Last month I participated in Brutus Monroe's Crafty Staycation. One class featured the Pretty Peonies stamp set from Simon Hurley Creates. Simon demonstrated how to use his stamping foam to do the backgrounds. It was such a cool technique! I also used his lunar paste for the first time. I want to contune practicing but I'm happy with these experimental cards!

Hopeful Blossoms Cards

 

Last month I participated in Brutus Monroe's Crafty Staycation. One class featured the new Hope Blossoms stamp and die set, a lace circle stencil, and coloring techniques. I'm not of fan of coloring images with watercolor pencils, but it was a nice to practice. Like anything I'm sure the more I use them I will like the results and become a fan.
